Well it has been a while since I have been able to find time to update on our Egyptian boys. I cannot explain enough on  how hard it has been to take care of these 2 dogs.  We brought them here for amputations and a better life. They have more issues then just needing amputations. because of the damage to their spines both dogs have no control over their urinating and bowel movements. Laundry loads and bill have doubled. Belly bands and diapers do not fit them because of the shape of their distorted back ends. This probably not one but 2 of the hardest rescue cases we have had. But they have been so good with all that is going on. They seem to be very happy with their raw food diets , soft beds and us working like their slaves , keeping them clean and comfortable while their ulcers heal.

Our vet was not having success getting roni'e giant ulcer to heal  and mekki who stayed at the clinic for 4 days while they tried to get a handle on his ulcer on his stump that would bleed every time he walked. Bless my vet's heart for trying. I told him it was ok we will handle it . 20 years of holistic care and working with some of the best holistic vets and our friend and mentor Dr Dee Blanco dvm, has surprised us on how much we know. The boys had their check up today and Dr Mike was amazed, surprised and impressed how we healed both dogs ulcers. he said both dogs ulcers were healed and no sign infections. Yea us!
