We have created this special Memorial Page for those guardians who wish to honor the past beloved animals who have so dearly touched their lives. For those who wish to memorialize their lost pets through this page, you can do so by donating to help support the Dharma Rescue for cats and dogs.

Any donation big or small will be appreciated, and by doing so you can put your companion on this page with a picture and description of your furry friend.

"The greatest lesson in love was given to me by someone who did not speak the same language as me. I was very thankful for having my PeeWee in my life even if it was only for awhile. With him i reflected several times that even if one has hurt you, or in his case left you disabled, being angry with life or with others does not solve anything. I dont think angels always look like humans. And that humans believe loyalty and selfless love does not exist but I found it in him. Today, I wonder if one day he felt the great love that we had for him. For me it was meeting a little person with virtues, affection, and hope. Today now that he is no longer with me I realize how valuable he was to me and the pain I felt when he was gone. I will never forget his curious little face that always seemed like he wanted to tell me something…PeeWee was such a grateful little animal that every time I cleaned his accidents he thanked me with his tender look. How we all miss him so much. Cleaning and taking care of him everyday connected me to him alot, thats why we miss him so much. He will always be in our hearts.💗🌈"

"Davey aka David S. Pumpkin. Davey, you were too young to leave us. I miss your John Wayne walk, your Tom Cruise slide, and your *hey mom it's me* taps on the leg. You were a special orange boy to us. Love you, my boy.❤️"

"Gracie was a sweet girl, her mom Diane loved her very much. Diane, a Dharma practitioner, did very well by continuously playing a Buddhist chant for her severely ill dog. Although Gracie was not known to lick people, her last gesture was to lick Diane's hand...most likely to say thank you for being a great mom.✨"

"We had to say goodbye to our Josie girl. She was paralyzed for four years. We who care for special needs pets have incredible bonds with them, we give up a lot to care for them and are always worried about them. But we never minded- she was light and love. As I said goodbye to my sweet angel I thanked her for all the lessons she has taught me- patience, resilience, living in the moment and loving with you whole heart.🤍"
