Our Pockets are Empty but Our Hearts are BIG! Ethan (aka Scooby) came to us from Mexico. His previous owners would not say how he became paralyzed. We posted him on every social media of ours hoping for a rescue to help him. Our rescue is full with many paralyzed dogs, cats, and seniors therefore we cannot take him nor the financial burden. This poor dog was laying on a cold slab of cement and dirt, with a dirty blanket to sleep on. Thankfully a woman came across him and did everything she could for him. She visited him everyday, brought him food and brushed the flies off him. She also took him to the vet where they were able to provide medication for his pain. No rescue came forward to help him, and we just cannot let him suffer, so we decided to bring him here to our rescue. It was a long journey for him but he was home in time for Christmas. This year 2020 Ethans body finally gave in to the harsh life he lived.We are grateful we were able to give him a couple years of comfort and love before he got his well deserved wings. Now you can fly and walk old boy. |
