What is a challenged animal?  It is a dog or cat that has behavioral problems. They need a special person, who is willing to work with them, or accept their problem. Most of the problems are not difficult to live with, and can be corrected with time and love. Why should  we expect our sentient beings to be perfect as we humans are not perfect? The beauty of all living things is the flaws.

FREIDA
Frieda was from a backyard breeder. 

She and her siblings were dropped off at a rescue because the mother attacked her puppies.  The whole litter ended up being dog aggressive. 

Her guardians know they have to be careful with Frieda being around other dogs, but she is great around children, people, and cats. 


Freida also has cancer due to her bad breeding and genetics and is currently being treated holistically.  Despite all her challenges, her devotion and love for her guardians make her a perfect dog in their eyes.

KRACKLE
Krackle is three years old.

Krackle is a very,very sweet boy. He loves to sit or lay on your lap, shoulder, arms any where a cat will fit. We thought we could easily find this sweet guy a forever home.

Well Mr. Krackle has a problem, he is a sprayer. So he has to be a outside kitty but he needs to live in a covered patio area because of his white color. White cats can burn their ears in to much sun and get cancer. So it is best he has shade. Of course we want all our kitties to be indoor cats and hope the new home tries to work with so he can become an  indoor kittie. 

LEO
Leo is an 8 years old neutered male Siamese mix.

Leo is a stoic, loner, manly kind of cat. A pat on the head is all he will allow, and he does NOT like to be picked up. He is fine just lounging around & watching the world goby.

Unfortunately his manliness has made him a sprayer, so a patio cat he must be, but we have seen cats turn around and not spray, if they are the the only cat in the house.

Wouldn't it be wonderful, if someone looks past all of Leo's issues, and give him a forever home? It could happen, maybe YOU are the ONE. Just look at that sweet, beautiful, distinguised face.
